Katriel Marks-Yant
Director, Economic Affairs
Katriel Marks-Yant serves as Director of Economic Affairs at the National Milk Producers Federation, where she leads the organization’s domestic market analysis and economic research efforts. In this role, she supports NMPF’s policy and advocacy work with data-driven insights on dairy markets and broader economic trends.
Prior to joining NMPF in October 2025, Marks-Yant served as an International Economist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service. She has also worked at Land O’Lakes, contributing to international development initiatives and government relations activities. Marks-Yant holds a master’s degree in International Economics and International Development from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and studied Agricultural Economics at Purdue University. Originally from Carmel, Indiana, she maintains close ties to her family’s farms in the Midwest.
