National Ice Cream Mix Association
About
The National Ice Cream Mix Association (NICMA), established in 1945, is a nonprofit trade association representing the manufacturing ice cream mix, soft serve frozen dessert mix and shake mix industry. NICMA represents member companies across the United States who share a common interest in the soft serve mix industry and uses its resources to foster and promote the general interests of its membership and the soft serve mix industry. The association aims to:
- Promote the interest of the ice cream mix, soft serve mix and shake industry and increase the use of the same through cooperation among the various factors in this industry in the matter of standards, research and public education.
- Act as a clearinghouse to exchange ideas that benefit the industry and the public.
- Keep members informed of legislative proposals or actions concerning this industry and of research or other new developments relevant to the industry.
- Act as the industry’s voice in all matters connected with public relations or cooperation with governmental agencies.
2025 Annual Meeting and Convention
NICMA’s Annual Meeting & Convention is held every January in Fort Lauderdale, FL. It offers members and non-members the opportunity to network with others who share a common interest in supporting the ice cream mix industry. Industry speakers share their knowledge and expertise on topics that are current and relevant to the ice cream mix industry, including economic, legislative, and regulatory issues.

NICMA's Future Annual Meeting Dates
Following January 2025’s meeting, NICMA is planning subsequent annual meetings in Fort Lauderdale. The scheduled dates include:
- 2026 – January 11-14 at the Lago Mar Beach Resort & Club
- 2027 – January 17-20 at the Lago Mar Beach Resort & Club
- 2028 – January 16-19 at the Lago Mar Beach Resort & Club
