Butler County Dairy in Surprise is Nebraska's largest and one of its newest dairies, home to 6,000 milking cows.

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM), pictured at right, operates both a corn dry mill and a corn wet mill at its Columbus, Neb., facility. Having both mills in the same location allows ADM to manufacture Golden Synergy™, a unique feed product that is a blend of wet corn gluten feed from the wet mill with modified wet distiller’s grains and solubles from the dry mill. This product combines the benefits of both products and provides optimum nutrition for most ruminant diets.

Learn more about these facilities by reading the farm tour handout.
