2017 Joint Annual Meeting

Every fall, the National Milk Producers Federation organizes a joint annual meeting with the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board (NDB) and the United Dairy Industry Association (UDIA). Dairy producers, member cooperatives, Young Cooperators (YCs), industry representatives, staff, and others from all over the country arrive for a few days of speeches, reports, banquets, general sessions, town hall meetings, and award ceremonies. Taking place in a different U.S. city each year, the annual meeting represents an opportunity for those active in the dairy industry to get together and share in their common accomplishments and challenges, as well as discuss the best route for the industry's future.

2017 Joint Annual Meeting: Anaheim, California

Nearly 800 dairy producers, company leaders and industry stakeholders descended upon the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, Calif., from Oct. 30-Nov. 1 to attend National Milk’s 101st Annual Meeting, where they heard from their policy and promotion organizations on how to create more opportunities for the U.S. dairy industry. As marketing challenges abound, both domestically and internationally, the meeting’s topics focused on the importance of increased collaboration across the dairy community and pursuing innovative new marketing strategies. Below are the presentations, press releases, photos and competition results from this year's event.
